How a sports stake settles

  1. Pick a market. Open the Sports tab, choose a match, then pick a market type (match winner, totals, player markets).
  2. Enter the stake. Minimum stake is visible in the betslip; higher stakes are accepted up to the market's stake ceiling.
  3. Confirm and lock. Odds can move between selection and confirmation. The slip shows the locked odds before you confirm.
  4. Settle. After the official result, the stake and winnings (or loss) post to the RS9 wallet.

What RS9 does not publish

  • Bookmaker margin by market - settlement is by payout; margin is implied in the odds.
  • User win-rate by user - there is no public leaderboard of personal sports outcomes.
  • Operator-side handicapping models - odds are published as-is.

FAQ - sports markets

How is an abandoned match handled?
If the official governing body declares the match abandoned and no result is recorded, markets are voided and stakes refunded. If a result is recorded under the DLS / par-score rule, markets settle on that result.
How are player markets settled?
Player markets settle on the official scorecard. If a player is rested or does not play, the market is voided.
Can I cancel a confirmed bet?
No. Once the betslip is confirmed, the bet is locked. The Cash-Out feature (when available) closes the position early at a quoted price.
Are bonus funds used for sports?
Bonus funds, when active, follow the bonus terms inside the app. Most sports markets count toward wagering requirements at varying rates.
