Why a season calendar matters

Fantasy cricket rewards pattern recognition across a tournament, not just one match. The first leg of the upcoming calendar (September through November) packs bilateral internationals, T20 franchise leagues and the early rounds of multi-nation tournaments into a 12-week window. Contest entries made early in a long tournament tend to have softer competition than the closing-week fixtures, where most users pile in.

The 12-week shape

• Weeks 1-3 (September). Bilateral internationals and the start of the domestic T20 season. Smaller contest fields, lighter prize pools, but a chance to read form before the marquee tournaments start.
• Weeks 4-8 (October). T20 franchise league windows. Maximum contest volume, maximum prize pools, maximum variance from one match to the next.
• Weeks 9-12 (November). Multi-nation tournaments and year-end internationals. Fields thin as users move on; prize pools often stay elevated for the final rounds.

How to use the calendar inside the RS9 app

1. Open the Fantasy tab and switch to Calendar view.
2. Filter by contest type (Mega Contest, Head-to-Head, Practice) and entry fee.
3. Lock your contest entries at least 30 minutes before toss.
4. Track live points during the match from the same screen.
